Since ancient times people have been able to live with and within nature, just like all living creatures around them. They studied the seasons turn, habituated the animals, had their gardens and fields. Nowadays, people have forgotten about their roots. Therefore, Madara, offering a natural alternative for everything chemical and artificial, does everything for the man and nature to be able to live side by side! Because it is our responsibility!

All things pretty are simple! All things simple are pretty... Flowering meadow full of cleavers is simple AND pretty! Getting inspiration from these natural values, we have created everything what's MADARA - product designs, poster layouts, packaging and even our stores. Without the unnecessary, no exaggerations. Only the white from clover blossom and the green from the grass. Just like in nature!

The beauty of Latvian nature has affected MADARA's birth in a most direct way. It's childhood memories of warm summers, cold morning dew on your feet, forests full of bird songs and berries. This is our version of patriotism. Our explanation as to why Madara is so pro-Latvian company, and why we use Latvian limetree blossoms, marigold or raspberries in our products. We're for our people!

At a time when the magic word "eco" has become more of a fashion trend, it is easy to forget what it really means - "to live green", ecologically, caring for nature and environment. In two words - be good! Because it is not so hard to pick up a dropped paper on the street, to take a cloth bag to the store with you, to go somewhere by public transportation now and then or, even better - by bicycle. It's not so difficult to use only economic filament in ones office and collect used product packagings from customers for reuse. We try! Because only these small things can truly change the world and make you "green". Make you good.

The reason for this is self-evident - you just have to leave the big city, get closer to Latvia's nature to understand that there's no view greater than mist at dawn over the flower meadows; no sound more beautiful than bees buzzing in limetrees; nothing's more real and more beautiful than the beauty that comes from nature. Naturally. Beauty isn't a mask that you put on top of your true face as a powder, to hide parts of your real self. Sadly, this direct approach, understanding of the word "beauty" has come more popular during the last couple of years.
